Welcome to the Paddle Pod

In the Spring of 2023, Pristine Paddleboard Adventures opened the doors to the first shipping container, naming it the "Paddle Pod". After two seasons of steady company growth, a second shipping container was added to the site in 2025. The expansion was necessary to store the ever-expanding fleet of kayaks and canoes.

P.P.A. continues to deliver stand-up paddleboard, kayak & canoe rentals along with SUP lessons & tours to people from all over the world - WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!

We are also pleased to offer cold drinks, snacks, souvenirs, ice cream, and other items for sale at the Paddle Pod.

A Lifetime of Experience

Josh has been a boater his entire life and found his love for the water at an early age. His parents started a sport fishing charter company in the 1980s called Scenic Marine Charters Ltd., located in Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island. After a few years, the family business evolved into a commercial fishing operation, which took Josh and his family on many adventures around the Gulf Islands, the Inside Passage, Barkley Sound, and other areas along the south coast of British Columbia. From the mid-2000s onwards, Josh managed three marine chandlers, then landed the Senior Sales Consultant role at M&P Mercury Boat Centre for 7 years. With countless hours of piloting boats, deck-handing, wake surfing, and fishing, he has gained extensive marine knowledge that he is eager to share with others.

Josh first hopped on a stand-up paddleboard in 2012, pushing off from the shores of Kalamalka Lake in Vernon, B.C. Over the years, he has taken advantage of paddleboarding opportunities in various locations in BC, French Polynesia, Hawaii, and Mexico.
