Overview
Join us for an unforgettable Glow Paddleboard Light & Sound Experience on the pristine waters of Cowichan Lake—where dusk fades into darkness, and the lake comes alive with colour, music, and motion. Each board is equipped with an RGB LED system, making the waters below glow as the lake transforms into a stunning, ever-changing canvas of light.

Your journey begins at our charming “Paddle Pod,” tucked among the trees in Gordon Bay Provincial Park along the lake’s scenic south shore. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by your experienced guide, Josh, who will assist with check-in, outfit you with premium paddle equipment, and provide a clear, confidence-building safety briefing to ensure you’re ready for the adventure ahead. The tour starts in Gordon Bay, then heading to the island group followed by paddling up the narrows of the lake as we chase the last phase of the sunset.

Youth - $29 (ages 13-17 must have parent or legal guardian sign waiver on their behalf)
Children Ride Free (ages 5-12 may ride along with parent or legal guardian on SUP)

The Experience
As the sun slips behind the western mountains and twilight settles in, we prepare to launch from the shores of Gordon Bay. With a thoughtfully curated soundtrack setting the mood and vibrant LED lighting glowing beneath your board, you’ll glide along the shoreline toward the Gordon Bay Islands, immersed in an atmosphere that’s equal parts peaceful and exhilarating.
Once on the water, a deep sense of calm takes over. Surrounded by lush forest and mirrored reflections, you’ll paddle across crystal-clear waters illuminated with the LED lights below. We make a few stops along the way to take photos and then to a secret beach to stargaze when the skies are clear.
What to Expect
Your tour begins with a brief on-land introduction followed by a guided paddle through some of the most scenic areas of the lake. Expect a mix of gentle movement, skill-building, and time to simply enjoy the surroundings.​ Whether you're trying paddleboarding for the first time or looking for a unique way to experience Cowichan Lake, this tour offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

NEW! The Mothership Multi-Person SUP
Looking for something extra special? Our 15-foot multi-person “Mothership” paddleboard accommodates up to four riders (or 600 lbs total), making it perfect for families or groups who want to stay together. While standing up with four people is challenging, it’s ideal for seated cruising—kids in the middle, parents at either end. For added comfort, optional Tommy Bahama chairs can be arranged just before launch. All gear is included for every rider.
To keep the experience intimate and high-quality, tours are limited to a maximum of six participants.
